Pocket Rocket Group has teamed up with Life Fitness UK to create and deliver a tailored learning and development programme across the Serco Leisure estate.

By leveraging an existing training and development fund, Life Fitness enlisted Pocket Rocket Academy to enhance the skills of fitness teams at 17 Serco Leisure-operated sites.

Challenge

Coordinating training and education for a key account like Serco Leisure can be a significant challenge. Serco's specific need was to upskill their fitness teams, focusing on enhancing their knowledge and expertise in delivering Personal Training (PT) and Small Group experiences.

Solution

The first step was to build a strong relationship with the senior management team at Serco Leisure and gain a clear understanding of their needs. Once this foundation was established, Pocket Rocket Academy created a tailored training schedule to be delivered at select facilities across the UK.
