A new chapter for Pocket Rocket

Pocket Rocket Group has appointed Nick Mennell as director to head up business development and sales consultancy.

Founded by Cheriee Wales and the late Lawra Angell, Pocket Rocket has delivered marketing expertise to the health and fitness industry since 2017, supporting a wide range of customers including fitness equipment manufacturers, technology companies, fitness operators and education providers.

Mennell has joined the business as partner and director to offer clients additional services that go hand in hand with Pocket Rocket’s existing offering.

Wales said: “I’m incredibly excited to be working alongside Nick to strengthen and grow Pocket Rocket into new areas of the market and also to ensure that our beloved Lawra’s legacy lives on.

“Nick has been a big part of Pocket Rocket from the start, not only as a friend and client but also as a trusted adviser offering high-level consultancy within the business.”

An experienced strategic leader, Mennell brings over 30 years of leisure industry experience through a multitude of sectors and disciplines from local authority and private sector clients as well as manufacturing, construction and professional sport.

Pocket Rocket works with customers to detail, develop, and deliver business and marketing strategies, implement key management processes and ensure the long-term success of clients through a customer-centric approach and undeniable work ethic.

Through bespoke workshops, the ‘Rockets’ align with clients to map out goals, deliverables and key performance indicators in order to develop the right strategic direction for their business.

Once the direction is set, Pocket Rocket helps customers to craft their story, build their sales and marketing assets and educate both internal and external audiences to ensure buy-in from all stakeholders.
